CredenceTWO-R™ is the next generation identity platform, placing the power of mobile enrollment and identification in the hands of users in the harshest and most demanding environments.

This device features a new hardened Single Board Computer (SBC), a stronger mechanical enclosure and a resilient silicon rubber case that all work together to achieve the MIL-STD-810G United States Military Drop Test Standard.

An Integrated Biometrics FAP-30, FIPS-201, FBI certified, 500 dpi fingerprint sensor, a 13MP camera with dual LED illumination and a combined contact/contactless smart card reader, make CredenceTWO-R the most robust combination of biometrics, credential reading, durability and mobility.

All these features are elegantly integrated with a crisp, 5-inch, HD, sunlight readable, multi-touch display, empowering partners to deploy their applications securely on a customized Android™ 8 (Oreo) operating system.

The typical use case is for the operator to perform OCR of a document, read digital content from a smart card (or travel document), and compare them to the live face and/or fingerprint to fully verify a subject’s identity.

Users can now carry this identification powerhouse on their belt or in their pocket without the need for multiple readers and scanners tethered to a computer, laptop or tablet.

Key features include a high resolution, 5-inch, multi-touch, outdoor-readable display to facilitate comfortable data entry and a rich user interface.

The rugged FBI, PIV, FAP-30, TFT/LES fingerprint scanner quickly and accurately captures a full fingerprint in all lighting conditions and because of its size, meets all the requirements for large scale identification for civil biometric programs.

Fully configured, the CredenceTWO includes a contact and contactless smart card reader allowing the operator to compare the data on the card to the live scan of the subject’s fingerprints. When capturing a subject’s face, the HD camera includes dual illumination for ICAO compliant images.
